I am woefully behind on blogging.  I know I owe my three fans an update on my weight (up, courtesy food and drinks @ BlogHer, bitches!), my weekly musing over the crap in the Skymall catalog, how US Air fucked me over (and over) this last week, the Friday Kid Photo, all the fun shit I did @ BlogHer, my meetup with my co-Peevers, how much Will missed me (a lot) and how much Peter missed me (not that much) and a ton of photo downloads, including the dozen or so where I will show you my chubby, slouchy self meeting TIM GUNN. 

But I'm busy with other stuff so that will all have to wait.

the big move

It's been five years since we went home to Buffalo to visit my parents for a week, go to Old Home Days in 14221, and show off Baby Will to all my friends.  Peter got a job offer the day before we drove home, and we decided to move, and bought a house.  

We're pretty happy, even though I'd like to find work in the area.  You know - a job that does not require a ride on an airplane to get to the office.  I would also like a Trader Joe's, but no one ever listens to me regarding that plea.  Assholes.

I STILL have shit in the basement that I need to go through and either unpack or toss.

I haven't looked at the Skymall catalog in a really long time.  You know, because it's full of shit. 

But this morning, I didn't pass out in first class right away, and I had a few minutes to peruse the crap on offer in the summer '09 edition. 

I'll need to take a copy with me on my next flight, because I've discovered that the on-line catalog is not the same as the real, non-virtual one.  The stuff on-line is much less craptacular.

We held another Progressive Dinner Party in our neighborhood last night.  Next-door on one side hosted appetizers and drinks, and next-door on the other side hosted dinner and drinks.  I made dessert.  And drinks.

He had a little for dinner last night (our new rule - you will eat at least one or two bites of everything - just to try it) and asked for it again tonight.

I hate not having time to update the blog, twat my thoughts on Twitter, or surf the internets.  I am in the middle of a big project at work and my status is the same as last week: overworked and super-tired, mixed in with the special treat of my period this week.

I'm going home today and we have a busy packed weekend, full of fun and hopefully no rain.

even more blog neglect

I have been busting my ass at work, 14-hour days, since Monday.  Big go-live here in Philadelphia.  Tonight I hope to sneak out at 7:30pm so I can get back to my hotel with a bag of cheese doodles and watch Big Brother.  When this is my big plan for the week, things are sad.

I am heading home tomorrow after being here since Sunday.  I hope the cleaning lady comes today because if I walk into a hellhole of a house tomorrow, I may just cry.

I am planning on going to the beer tent at Williamsville's Old Home Days tomorrow night so I can see my friends, eat some fried dough, drink OV in a can and make out with Greg Fornasiero.  I CAN'T WAIT.
