Aaaand I'm back from Florida. Six days of warmth, sun, sand, theme parks, and Beard Papa.
We flew into Tampa last Sunday. Will and I had the good seats, while Peter chilled out in coach. Will likes to sit in First Class, eat Cheerios, drink lots of Sprite, and play eleventy thousand games of tic-tac-toe.
We stayed at the Clearwater Hilton, right on the beach, and went to Peter's favourite restaurant in Clearwater - Crabby Bill's. I call it Shitty Bill's, and you should stay tuned for a Yelp review soon from Yours Truly.
The only thing worth having at Shitty Bill's:
We went to Busch Gardens on Monday with my friend Tammy and her two kids. I'd post a lot of pictures but PETER DELETED ALL THE PICTURES ON HIS CAMERA, NO ONE KNOWS WHY HE WOULD DO SUCH A THING, INCLUDING HIM.
Here's one I snapped on my iPhone:
Tuesday we had a little breakfast, walked on the beach, had lunch out, etc.
I discovered the hard way that the facial moisturizer I packed on this trip does not contain any SPF at all.
On Tuesday night, we went to dinner with my friend Tammy and her husband (the kids had a babysitter) and I picked up some of my favourite wine in cute little 375 ml bottles. I wish I could find these in Buffalo.
We had some really nice pictures of Tammy, Tom, Peter and myself but PETER DELETED ALL HIS PICTURES FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON.
On Wednesday we drove to Orlando and visited Downtown Disney. Will liked the Lego store.
This is a sea creature made out of Legos, and that bird is taking a pooh right on it's head. There were a ton more pictures of Will posing with Lego Stormtrooper, Lego Darth Vader, Lego everything, but THEY ARE GONE FOREVER.
Thursday? Universal Studios, blah. Hated it. Well, Will liked it, but I hated it. It was cold and rainy and I am getting too old for this kind of shit.
And Friday - Disney's Magic Kingdom. Yes, that is three theme parks in five days - if you are counting.
Peter opted out of the visit to Disney, and afetr he picked us up later that day we did a little shopping.
Yes, that's me with a Kate Spade shopping bag. Peter encouraged me to buy it, I swear. It's nice.
And then this morning, I ate some bacon, ate a Beard Papa, and had a coffee with Bailey's for breakfast, and we drove to Tampa to catch our flight and now we are home.
I have laundry to do. Will weigh self tomorrow.
