Living in Boston all those years, I had no idea what I was missing when it comes to a garden and outside space. Our last home in Boston was a pretty nice condo in Southie, but it only had a small deck and no yard and of course no garage or driveway or anything like that.
So I feel really happy today about our ginormous yard.
Just look at these gorgeous tulips!
Such a pretty color - they match all my warm-weather handbags.
And the giant split birch tree in front
A row of tulips in the front
And even Petey the cat came out to say hiya. He has not been outside in more than 8 years.
"Hi, I'm scared of the outdoors. Now I'm going to go back inside and vomit on the rug. See ya."
Peter got busy:
"Please go make me a sandwich. And clean the cat puke off the floor before I see it because that cat is dead meat if I step in any more vomit"
I hear ya, sista. I was in heaven on Friday after the grass had been cut...it smelled so awesome...brought me back to childhood. All I smelled in Southie was the cigarette smoke from my next door neigbors. Don't miss that at all!!!
