ugly slippers and bad roots

It's damn cold here in Buffalo today; chilly and rainy and about 45 degrees out.  I have resorted to turning on the heat and wearing slippers in the house.  Ugly slippers that do not match my cute pants:

I also have some hellish roots showing.  I cannot get in for an appontment until June 2nd.  This could be a problem.
