weekend weigh-in

This is what I weighed for about an hour yesterday...even AFTER a night of eating a ton of shit at the Spree party.

 

Alas, I then went across the street and drank a bottle or two of wine.

Here's Will at my favourite Wawa in Philadelphia.  This is where I get my coffee in the morning, and occasinally a sad salad for dinner.

 

When Will and I went, we got water, iced coffee and Nutter Butters.

working < vacation

So, Peter is on vacation this week, and Will is too.  Guess who is NOT on vacation.  Me.

To add to the fact that I am jealous that everyone is on vacay this week but me, Peter and Will drove to Philly with me for the week, just to 'hang out'.

Going into the office while these two clowns sit around, go to the museum, go to the zoo, eat leisurely meals, walk around town, eat water ice and watch TV is making me just a little bitter.

On the upside, we have eaten some very nice dinners.  No WaWa salads for me this week.

The worst part about consulting for a living (besides the being away from home and the way that USAir occasionally screws you) is saying goodbye to people.

Remember my first day at LMNOP company?  I was sad.  But not as sad as today, when I say goodbye to Big Lar:

 

Big Lar is moving on, from LMNOP company onto a new gig at a large company in Northern California.  He lives in Michigan, so that will be a bitch of a commute.

I am not posting the Friday Kid Photo today, as I am not home to take said photo.  I've stayed behind in Philadelphia, and I'm leaving work at 12 noon today to go to the Jersey Shore for another friend's 40th birthday weekend celebration. 

It will be a weekend of sand, sun, and debauchery in Atlantic City.

On Sunday I am flying home for about 18 hours to make sure Will and Peter have clean clothes and some food stocked in the fridge.  Then on Monday I'm coming back for another fun-filled week at work. 

I really, really need a week off.

It's shit like this that makes me realize I can never, ever move back to Boston. 

one year anniversary

It's been 365 days since my gastric bypass surgery.  I celebrated by going for a walk, buying a lipgloss at Sephora and eating a salad from WaWa.
