A boring week in Philadelphia. The only exciting this that happened to me was the painful and gruesome discovery that I still have/had kidney stones.
Those are my rings, and that little chunk to the right is my kidney stone, one of two that I passed Tuesday morning. All I can say is Thank God I had pain meds in my suitcase, and yes, I did reach into the commode and grab the stone after I peed it out.
Other than the enormous stone of calcium deposits, or whatever it is that started it's way out of my kidney at 11:30pm on Monday and finally passed all the way through at 6:30am on Tuesday (yes, that is seven hours of agony, thankyouverymuch), all is well. I still have a job, making some dough, trying to get some exercise (I went to the gym twice this week), eat well (but I still love the bacon and drink too much coffee), etc., etc., etc.
And today is Thursday, my favorite day of the week. I'm going home in a few hours and plan on a nice, fun, relaxing weekend.

Jen,
I know what you went through..I remember being in the hospital with my butt exposed to the world and not giving a damn because the pain was unbearable..Im glad to hear you passed them and are feeling better.
